Santana gets traded to the Mets and the Twins get....NOTHING ZIP O ZILTCH O for him! Other than Mauer (Mauer-sota), Santana is our favorite Twin!!! Alex has his baseball card proudly displayed in his room. I can't get over the fact that we received four "potentially" good players for the best pitcher in MLB

Sometimes you can take the boy out of the city, but you can't take the city out of the boy.

As we were walking into the school this morning, Alex and I had the following conversation...

Alex - Mom, why does it always smell like cow poop around here?
Mom - That is how many families in South Dakota make money and feed their families
Alex - (Obviously confused) With cow poop?
