Alex came to me last night with this annoyed, how can they do this, look on his face and exclaimedMom....in first grade they're going to make us read books...WITH CHAPTERS IN THEM!
our neighbor told him about the spelling tests in first grade...nic came home and said, "mom, there are spelling tests in 1st grade...did you know that??" i replied, "yeah, so?" nic exclaimed, "i don't even know HOW to spell!" i calmly said, "you will soon enough."
