I think we have some role confusion in our house. Friday evening I tucked Alex into bed, read him a story, prayed with him, kissed him on the forehead and left the room. As I strolled into the kitchen to let the kitty outside, I noticed that it was snowing!
Jumping up and down, I yelled for Alex to quickly come to the window! Confused, and worried, Alex sprung out of bed to join me at the window.
Alex - "Mom, why did you want me to come to the kitchen"
Mom - "Alex, look....it's snowing!!!"
Alex - "You woke me up to tell me that?"

BAH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....
I bet you're going to enjoy doing that even more when Alex enters his high school years. I'm looking forward to my "revenge." ;-D
as long as there is at least one mature resident at all times...things will be fine, and fun.
HA - What am I going to do when he moves out Heidi?
Yep...sounds like role reversal....either thata or you like snow lots more than he does.
I don't know whats wrong with me...I just can't get excited about snow and the cold weather. Show me a beach full of sand and sunshine and then I'll jump up and down.
Bah.hum.bug!!!
Hilarious!
I would have said the same thing - I HATE snow!
HEHEHE!!! Its ok to reverse the roles every once in a while...helps us stay young no matter what that silly age # is.
I didn't mind the cute little snow flurries we had the other day. But that's it. I'm done enjoying snow. Now, BRING ON SPRING!
HaHa! That is funny!
I did the same exact thing with Nathan!!!
