Melt My Heart

Alex has been into drawing lately and he has been using my accounting paper so I went out to the store last night and bought him his own drawing notebook. He settled into his drawings and I was busy studying for my operations/production management final when he jumped up and grabbed the tape and dashed into my bedroom.

He came out with a grin on his face and when I asked him what he was up to, he smiled and directed me to walk into my bedroom and look at my closet door.

Here is what I found

and some people think parenting is a thankless job - those people have a lot to learn

Nothing like that to melt a Mother's heart!!!! What an awesome child you have there...a great testament to the job you are doing in raising him.

That is awesome!! I love to find pictures and notes all over from Dawson. Although yesterday I found one saying "I love {Sarah}"

~sigh~

How can you beat that! There is no way! I don't care what anybody says, a million dollars can't even compare.

Love it!!!

Tonight Nathan told me he needed to tell me a secret. He whispered "you're the best mom ever". I said "Oh wow - thanks!"

He quickly said "Yeah, I can only say that on Mother's day." I laughed and said "only on Mother's day?" He said "Well, I'll tell you another day if you remind me."

Wow! Thanks, Bud.
