OK. I'm going to risk sounding like an airhead here ... why will this be the last season in the giant marshmallow?

Obviously, I don't follow sports.

I expect to see photos of Joe Mauer on the next baseball post missy.

JM - The twins are getting a new stadium and it's about time! The giant marshmallo sucks when it comes to watching baseball. It sucks to watch football in as well, but worse for baseball. Artificial turf….white ceiling with bright lights that blends in with the baseball….the seats were set up for football so depending on where you are in the stadium, you sometimes have to twist and turn in your seat to see the action…..plus, baseball was not met to be played indoors. Sunny…80degrees and you’re walking inside an inflatable toilet bowl? I could probably go on and on, but to answer your questions, the twins will open in their new stadium next year

I'm all about a retractable roof stadium. I hate outdoor football games when its raining or snowing. Same way with baseball.

Ever been to Green Bay during football season? Yeah me neither but the thought of it is enough to make me stay where its warm.

I really dont mind indoor sporting events. I"m a fair weather fan.

You know what does suck about the new stadium Sarah? No retractable roof!!

Ah ...

Thanks for the explanation.

btw, the only pro-baseball game I've ever been to was back in 2002in Seattle. The Mariners were playing the Royals. We got free tickets through my brother-in-law, who was a sports anchor in Seattle at the time. That was a F-U-N game. I don't remember the score. What I do remember is the awesome concessions stands. :-D

Oh! I was pregnant with JS at the time, hence my preoccupation with the concessions stands.
